BREAKFAST OF CHAMPIONS
This delicious breakfast bowl provides a powerful nutrient hit, with its use of high-antioxidant ingredients. Combined with the cholesterol-lowering effects of oats, this meal is a satiating and heart-healthy way to start your day.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED

â…“ cup wholegrain rolled oats

½ tsp ground cinnamon

¼ tsp ground turmeric

¼ tsp ground ginger

freshly ground black pepper

1½ cup soy milk (or any plant-based milk)

1 tbsp ground flaxseed

1 banana, sliced or diced
-
1 tbsp peanut butter
-
½ cup blueberries
-
sprinkle of raw cacao nibs
LET'S GET COOKING

Soak the rolled oats and the spices with ¾ cup of soy milk overnight.

Pour the soaked oats into a small pot, add another ¾ cup of soy milk and cook till desired consistency is reached. Additional soy milk may be required.

Stir the flaxseed in at the end before removing from the stove.

Add the banana, blueberries, peanut butter, and cacao nibs as toppings.
