Ben Eitelberg : Co-Founder

Ben brings his passion for people and the environment, drawing from his experiences across multiple and very diverse career paths. Following a career in a demanding corporate world, he is a Triathlon New Zealand accredited and XTERRA certified coach, operating his endurance sports and plant-based nutrition coaching business Kaitiaki Endurance Sports.

 

As an athlete, Ben has represented both South Africa and New Zealand in triathlon for a number of years and now continues to compete in ultramarathon running and swimrun events. With a Vegan Nutritionist Diploma and micro-credentials in Leading Beyond Sustainability and Sport for Sustainable Development, he is a passionate advocate for responsible, ethical and healthy living.

 

Based in Auckland, New Zealand, Ben regularly travels the country exploring new trails whilst influencing change at training camps, workshops and expos/festivals.

Emma Strutt : Co-Founder

Emma is an Accredited Practising Dietitian, Fellow of the Australasian Society of Lifestyle Medicine, a qualified yoga teacher (200hrs) and has completed the eCornell Certificate in Plant-Based Nutrition and Deakin University's micro credential in Sustainability and Development. After realising the impact of our food system is so much bigger than simply influencing human health outcomes, Emma also Completed a Post-Graduate Certificate in Climate Change Adaptation and a Diploma of Sustainable Living.

Initially working within the hospital system, Emma now runs a private practice, greenstuff nutrition, based in Queensland, Australia. She has also worked as a Research Assistant at a Queensland medical research institute, so loves taking a deep dive into nutrition research!
